HANNOVER. This year, over 40% more allocations for the federal trunk road to Lower Saxony will go to 2008, an increase of over € 200 million to 700 million euros. This is approximately € 100 million more than in the peak year of 1998 in preparation for the Expo and about 200 million euros more than in the normal annual average. 70% of the total budget had been committed in early June 2009 already. Compared with the previous year at this time already commissioned more works than in all of 2008. This is the balance between the federal highway construction in 2009 in Lower Saxony.
The cash increase is mainly due to the economic programs: the Jobs program to build and transport (economic stimulus package I: 2009/10 Niedersachsen € 93 million), the additional revenue from the toll increase (2009-12 for Lower 78 million €) and the Pact for Employment and stability (economic stimulus package: 2009/10; for Lower 78 million €). This money is used directly for the construction industry to the best.
Here for Lower Ten new projects are included with a construction volume of € 225 million: the B 3, bypass Wulmstorf (€ 14 million construction cost) and the southern part of the ring road Celle (17 million €), B 27, bypass Waake (€ 12 million), the B 188, bypass Danndorf / Velpke (€ 10 million), the B 210, bypass Schortens (€ 35 million), the B 442, bypass Eimbeckhausen (€ 13 million), the expansion of the A-7 between Norten Hardenberg and Göttingen-Nord (39 million euros), the bypass on the B Aerzen 1 (€ 10 million), the relocation of the B 241 between Volpriehausen and Ellierode (€ 29 million) and bypass the Berne B 212 (€ 28 million).
